How you communicate can make or break a relationship. I learned this young, and this epiphany was nurtured through the Iowa 4-H program; shaping communications into a passion. I then headed to Iowa State University to earn degrees in both journalism and political science. Today, I pursue opportunities that expand my skills to become a better communicator. There’s nothing like getting down in the trenches with a diverse team figuring out how to get from point A to point B. Relationships are hard, but how you communicate can make it easier.
